8pm Training and Z12

#1

My schedule now dictates that I lift late evening or not at all.
Will Z12 calm me down enough to sleep well?
I can be so amped after hard training I don’t come down for hours.

Z12 doesn’t help you fall asleep. Sorry.

I found extra stretching after a workout was more then enough to “calm down”.

I would guess no stimulants before your WO?!

Coltman,

I have 2 or 3 workouts a week where I have to wo at 8:30 at night due to my rotating schedule. What works for me is I have caffeine or a preworkout drink between 6 and 6:30 on an empty stomach. By 8:30 it might be wearing off but I’m still more awake then not having anything after a 12 hour shift. It also allows the caffeine to get out of my system by the time I go to bed at 10 or 10:30.

I have Plazma and MAG-10 during and after my wo and then take about 3 mg of a sublingual melatonin, which helps me calm down and get to sleep faster.

I’d suggest a good sized meal with a generous helping of carbs post workout and throw in some fish oil, magnesium and zinc to help you chill out and fall asleep.

Some people use 1 or 2 caps to relax, so it might be worth a try.

In addition to the stretching and big meal already suggested, might I recommend…

Just Plasma and Indigo.
