6 Weeks to Superhero with New Formulas

#1

This has been asked before but I can’t remember the answer and I can’t find it when searching the site: what is the optimum way to supplement with the Plazma or new Anaconda and MAG-10 when using the 6 Weeks to Superhero program? Can anyone link me to the answer or help me out?

I would check with CT over here:

I think Christian Thibaudeau and Tim Patterson would say to pre-load one serving of <a href="http://www.t-nation.com/store/products/plazma"target=“new”>Plazma 15 minutes before the workout, then drink two more servings intra-training, followed by one or two pulses of <a href="http://www.t-nation.com/store/products/mag-10"target=“new”>Mag-10 post-workout.

This plan will greatly upgrade the Six Weeks to Superhero peri-workout protocol. As a bonus, it simplifies it as well compared to all the previous mixing required.

If using <a href="http://www.t-nation.com/store/products/indigo-3g"target=“new”>Indigo-3G, take six capsules with the pre-load dose of Plazma.

Just out of curiousity, I have noticed before that CT says to take more than one scoop before training and the rest during. In his forum, he answered this with 2 scoops before and 1 during. I realize I may be splitting hairs here, just curious why the discrepancy is there. Primarily, because Plazma is taken 15-30 min before, and I think I would struggle to drink 1000 mL of fluid in that time span. Just curious on your thoughts. Thanks.

CT may be experimenting with different dosing strategies for his needs. My advice above is based on Tim Patterson’s general recommendations for optimal Plazma usage for demanding weight training sessions. If Tim has pro-bodybuilders and professional athletes on the same protocol, I trust this is also the best protocol for we mere mortals.

Of course, Plazma and Mag-10 usage can be modified to fit individual needs and budget. Some users for example may only need 2 servings of Plazma for a workout (one pre-loaded, one during) while others have gone up to 4. But for the vast majority, 3 is optimal for most types of intense training. Some users also tweak their usage based on the workout itself: 3 servings for a leg day, 2 servings for an “easier” arms-only day.

We suggest following the label for best results, but feel free to experiment within the general guidelines to find that sweet spot for your needs and goals.
