4 Weeks - Amazed

#1

Well, it has been a heck of a four week period. Glad it is over, but in a way it has only just begun. I am so grateful for this program and everyone here. And to Chris and T-Nation for this program. You all have changed my life more than you will ever know.

#2

Start day.

#3

End of week 4.

#4

Indeed it has just begun. Keep with it, develop good eating habits, and post another set of pics in a year. You’ll be amazed at what a year of clean living can do.

#5

This is right now. Taken about 3 weeks after completing the two week transition. I am still working hard and watching what I eat.

#6

You look 10 years younger!

Amazing how fat loss improves the neck and face area, even though most people don’t even think about fat accumulation there.

#7

I agree! You seriously look yearssssssssss younger! It’s just awesome!

#8

Thanks Chris and KC. Ya know, I didn’t even realize how much different I looked in the face. But since you guys pointed it out, it is absolutely true. Thanks for the insight. I am so grateful to T-Nation and the supplements for giving me a life I never dreamed possible. And a body I have NEVER had, even in my high school days of playing football and tennis and being extremely active. I wish I had this body in college. I could have pulled even hotter tail. haha.

Oh well, but life is amazing. I was looking back last night of some pics of me at the lake a couple years ago when I had ballooned up to 281 lbs. of pure fat! It makes me sick!!!

#9

Keep those old photos hanging around and I’m sure you will never go back! :stuck_out_tongue: I’d say it would certainly help checking back on them anyway

Congratulations!
What’s your weight now?

#11

I don’t spend a lot of time on the scale. I use pictures and mirrors. Scale weight is just a number and fluctuates about 5 lbs throughout the day. But I am around 195 now I think. So about 85 lbs lost since I started my healthy lifestyle quest about a year and a half ago.

#12

I just got a note from Craig Weller bragging you up, deservedly!

You should post some of your “way before” pics. Awesome progress!

#13

Craig has been key in helping me achieve my results. Even though I have only recently met him, I have known of him for quite some time and the principles he has taught have been huge. So here is a picture of me in July 2009. Basically two years ago at a height of 285 pounds.

Oh, and that beer in my hand? Haven’t had one since November of 2009. Actually haven’t had a drop of alcohol since then. In my opinion, alcohol of any kind is nothing but a diet and physique killer!!!

#15

Wow!! Incredible, You are Amazing, Such a Great Accomplishment! Congratulations!

I totally agree, I used to love drinking alot, but for the last 6 years I always felt like it was such a road block to any physique progress and I haven’t had any alcohol in a long time as well.

I just noticed you are from South Dakota, I grew up there!!

#17

Thanks dtj. I appreciate your kind words. Where in SD did you grow up? I live in Watertown.

Yep I know where Watertown is been there a few times many years ago, I’m from the Hot Springs Edgemont area.

#19

Ah OK, cool. You are from the complete opposite side of the state as me. But very cool. We should start a group “South Dakotan’s who rock the V diet”. haha.

#20

WOW!

That before photo you posted really makes everything you did that much more impressive! Great work on everything! Seriously! Can’t wait to see what you keep on doing now!
