I have finished up the first part of my ?experiment?. While I was not 100% with it (more like 95%), here?s the end result:
180# down to 170#
19% body fat down to 14%
Lost 10.4# of fat and GAINED 0.4# 0f muscle
Lost a total of 6 3/4? on my waist (4 1/4? at widest part and 2 ½?)
Gained 2? at shoulders and 2? at chest
This is all after a dite that was essentially 1400 calories on non-training days and 1700 on training days. Consider that this is a deficit of 800-1100 from my recommended maintenance calories of 2500!!! I gained some muscle while undereating!!!
We?ll see what happens the next few months. Of course I spent some $$ to do this, which, I found, is a great motivating factor!
